For the past 13 years, the Ralston family has proudly been the guardians of Dunstan Peaks—embracing open-air living and raising their two daughters to respect and cherish the land, animals, and ecosystems around them. Farming in New Zealand’s high country demands resilience, hard work, and a positive spirit. Thankfully, the support of extended family and close friends has been invaluable, helping to ensure the farm receives the year-round care, dedication, and love it deserves.

The rural community has a unique and powerful influence on families. Watching those around us grow alongside our children—navigating challenges, environmental events, and everyday life—has been both humbling and heartwarming. We feel privileged to have raised our children in such a special place, surrounded by nature, community, and the values that come with life on the land.
